Thursday, June 15, 2017, Pastor Roy Allen and his team hit the streets of the Westside of Chicago, Illinois praying for anyone in need of comfort. Pastor Allen shared on social media that people gave their hearts to Jesus. This means to acknowledge a life of sin, denounce it and decide to change with the help of Jesus. It is a verbal covenant or commitment of faith, belief in Jesus Christ. Pastor Allen’s social media page shows postings of residents giving their lives to Christ. Pastor Allen Facebook posting also says, “Jesus Said He Will Heal This Chicago, His People”. This healing promise appears to be the motivating factor for going into an area known for its violence. Although the area is improving greatly, it’s known for its hardships and struggles. Healing is a long desired presence of the residents present and past. The latter is my testimony.
The scripture that refers to healing that is most relative is the one Former President Barack Obama often quoted 2008-2016, Psalms 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” NIV . This scripture reaffirms that Jesus, God, is in control of all things. Most people acknowledge God in times of trouble to either blame or seek help. The Bible states that God blesses those that love, honor, bless or have faith in Him. When you read the Holy Bible with understanding, you can see book after book, that God did not cause the trauma but He does right the wrong. Because of sin, God demands honor. In layman term, God gives back what he gets. You can see this in the book of Samuel. The specific verse is 1 Samuel 2:6-7,
6 “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. 7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
But to get the full grasp of this, you need to read at least read all of chapter 2 which is titled Hannah’s prayer, ” Hannah’s Prayer
1 Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. 2 “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. 3 “Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. 4 “The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength. 5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry are hungry no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away. 6 “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. 7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. 8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. “For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s; on them he has set the world. 9 He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails; 10 those who oppose the LORD will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.” 11 Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the LORD under Eli the priest.
Eli’s Wicked Sons
12 Eli’s sons were scoundrels; they had no regard for the LORD. 13 Now it was the practice of the priests that, whenever any of the people offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand while the meat was being boiled 14 and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot. Whatever the fork brought up the priest would take for himself. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh. 15 But even before the fat was burned, the priest’s servant would come and say to the person who was sacrificing, “Give the priest some meat to roast; he won’t accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.” 16 If the person said to him, “Let the fat be burned first, and then take whatever you want,” the servant would answer, “No, hand it over now; if you don’t, I’ll take it by force.” 17 This sin of the young men was very great in the LORD’s sight, for they were treating the LORD’s offering with contempt. 18 But Samuel was ministering before the LORD—a boy wearing a linen ephod. 19 Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice. 20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the LORD give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the LORD.” Then they would go home. 21 And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD. 22 Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 23 So he said to them, “Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours. 24 No, my sons; the report I hear spreading among the LORD’s people is not good. 25 If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the LORD, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the LORD’s will to put them to death. 26 And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with people.
Prophecy Against the House of Eli
27 Now a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Did I not clearly reveal myself to your ancestor’s family when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh? 28 I chose your ancestor out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in my presence. I also gave your ancestor’s family all the food offerings presented by the Israelites. 29 Why do you scorn my sacrifice and offering that I prescribed for my dwelling? Why do you honor your sons more than me by fattening yourselves on the choice parts of every offering made by my people Israel?’ 30 “Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the LORD declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. 31 The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your priestly house, so that no one in it will reach old age, 32 and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, no one in your family line will ever reach old age. 33 Every one of you that I do not cut off from serving at my altar I will spare only to destroy your sight and sap your strength, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life. 34 “ ‘And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be a sign to you—they will both die on the same day. 35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always. 36 Then everyone left in your family line will come and bow down before him for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread and plead, “Appoint me to some priestly office so I can have food to eat.” ’ ”
So, after reading this passage you can see Pastor Allen’s posting, “Jesus Said He Will Heal This Chicago, His People”, can be valid. But, I always caution you to seek out God for yourself. Build up your own relationship with God. Do not rely on constant prophecy from anyone. God is speaking to all men. Faith is required to hear, understand and hold on to what you understand so that you do not give up on your belief in times of trouble. Mark 4:9 is a good example, “9 Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” The word “hear” carries the meaning to “hold on”.
So, then the prayers of Pastor Allen is walking out the word of God’s declaration of deliverance. The thing is will the residents of the community hold on or cast healing back in the face of God like a man spits at his enemy. In other words, will residents hold peace like hate, excluding or love like Jesus? Who are you praying for today?

Worship is a great way to move through grief, Turn on LUTG RADIO,
ACAW Media solicited an opinion from a movie goer after she had seen the movie War Room and this is what she had to say:
“The movie “War Room” opened in theaters today and it is a “Devine” intervention. I laughed. I cried. It jumps immediately into the action of the lives of a married couple. There’s something for the faithful, unfaithful, men, women young and old. The movie addresses real life issues. It had to have been based on someone’s life (mine perhaps). It transitions well and remains entertaining throughout the movie. War Room was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it. Believers and non-believers are in for a treat.
Now we know the faith movies with good characters is possible. If people can not see themselves in the movie you know its a flop regardless of numbers. But so far War Room is a movie people can relate.
Heartache fills the air: Former News Anchor Kills WDBJ Anchor Alison Parker and Photographer Adam Ward
Heartache filled the air Wednesday as WDBJ News Anchor Alison Parker and WDBJ Photographer Adam Ward were tragically gun down by one of their own. Former WDBJ News Anchor Bryce Williams approached the pair while conducting an interview with Vicky Gardner, who was also shot in the back and is currently recovering after surgery in the hospital.
ABC News stated Williams sent a 23 page letter via fax stating his reasons for his actions. Former employers reported that Williams was difficult regarding relating to co-workers. Williams stated on his social media pages that racial slurs angered him and evoked violent outbursts which related to his being terminated from previous media news stations. In the letter to ABC News, Williams states the victim’s initials are on the bullets. Williams cited the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church Charleston shooting by Dylan Roof on 06/17/2015 killing 9 people is what tipped his psyche over the edge and prompted him to put down a deposit for the legal purchase of a gun from a Virginia gun store.
Dylan Roof is the young white male that killed several black Christians in an attempt to set off a race war. The family of the slain victims of the June 17, 2015 shooting decided to forgive Dylan Roof for his actions so the question remains why would Williams take it upon himself to act? Williams continues to write in the 23 page letter that Jehovah told him to act in violence.
This statement according the bible is incorrect in that God does not need man to act in violence. God says to be happy and rejoice. God calls for patience and understanding and to love one another. God clearly says do not pay back evil for evil. Williams and all those before him that committed acts of violence in retaliation is wrong. You can read in the New Living Translation of the bible, Romans 12:11-21 how Jesus the son of Jehovah God does not call for man to act violently rather to act in love and peace,
There were four lives altered and three lives lost on Wednesday. The way that terminations are handled needs to addressed. Conflict resolutions needs some changes. Being aware that a person has some emotional issues and violent outbursts does not mean they should be abandoned. Rather, treat the situation as if they were an alcoholic or addicted to drugs. Require those involved participate in some sort of counseling so they so can positively express their feelings and reach a solution even if termination is the solution. Pray for the souls of those lost and that the hearts of their families will be healed without violence or retaliation.
With regards to social media re-post being the cause of violence. Lets take a look at it. Social media are how we communicate in our current environment. To ban those on social media from sharing what is occurring will ultimately alter how the truth is told. It is not okay to reap joy from tragedy. To blame those who re-tweet for the actions of another is not going in the right direction. This is leading to a police state in the streets, on the internet and limits our rights to free speech.
Early this morning an odd photo posted to the LUTG RADIO Facebook page, a picture of a McDonald’s Chicken Nugget order with a fried chicken head. The photo was posted by Mauricien from the Port Louis, Maritius area overseas surrounded by the Indian Ocean if that helps anyone with directions. I asked the Mauricien which McDonald’s sold the Nuggets and am waiting a response.
So while waiting, I call the North Brook, Illinois McDonald’s Corporate office to ask a few questions and was sent to a voice mail that said send an email. So of course I sent and email and am eagerly awaiting a response. McDonald’s nuggets is favored by many Americans and I had some a few days ago. Did I get a beak scrap in my nugget? Do the employees even look at what they are serving? Do they always serve Chicken Head Nuggets, Will Mickey D’s push Chicken Head Nuggets on American to save a buck or is it a delicacy for the Port Louis, Maritius area? Probably not. Lets wait to hear what McDonald’s has to say about it.
The one common denominator of the famous to the not so famous is Mom’s. In your Mother’s eyes you are her super star. Everything you do as a kid is awesome. The love you show, being a good helper and striving to do your best. So, when you become an adult and become successful at loving all people with all your heart, your Mom sees you are perfect just like God. (be ye perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect, Matthew 5:48. This referring to loving all people.
Thank you Moms!
By now, you may you’ve seen the video of Solange Knowles, Beyoncé’s sister continue verbal conversation while entering an elevator.
The issue is Solange took the conversation from verbal to physical. Solange got in the face Jay-Z and then swung on him. Jay-Z holding out his arms to prevent her from hitting him. Solange then kicks Jay-Z in the chest. Which must people in any culture know this is beyond way out-of-bounds. The is more than a sign of no respect and sign of a drug or mental problem.
To get out of control to the point you are screaming and yelling when you are not in any physical danger states something is definitely wrong. I just got to give props to Jay-Z cause He did not hit a woman who some men would have knocked her on her butt. Beyoncé, appeared to fear for the mental state of her sister. I say this cause a sister is unique in that, when they are in danger the body stance is defensive and when they are in danger of hurting themselves the posture is more of empathetic allowing the sister to be restrained.
The hope is that whatever is going on with Solange is that she will seek and accept real help.
Arturas Morozovas filmed this footage and Berta Tilmantaite edited this film. True, this is a creative process, but it is to make the plight of the people understandable. This video humanizes the protestors and the police officers. The tragedy is that after 70 years of oppression and 22 years of freedom, history fails to teach lessons in non-violence.
Men and women should be able to speak with civility towards one another. Persons should refrain from oppression for any sake. This world, the Ukraine, requires a community of many to be effective. If all are killed the leaves will still fall, the snow will blow in like a mighty wind, the flowers bloom and grass will still grow. The seasons will not stop just cause man exits.
Surely, a nation that has received forgiveness can forgive and work together for the good of all of its citizens. The dress of darkness fell 22 years ago, while allow death, deceit and greed dress itself in the blood of the Ukrainian nation.
National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, NAUKMA, established in 1615, located in Kiev Oblast, Ukraine, one of the oldest universities is calling for the police to uphold the oath of their position. NAUKMA states that current Presidential cabinet which they are calling a regime, is working outside of the law on the Ukraine. The University is stating that it is the President and his cohorts that are actually pouncing on the citizens of Ukraine who are defending their rights of democracy.
NAUKMA states that the country leaders and officers are guilty of fratricide, which is the killing of their brothers and sisters. The University leaders are also stating that the police officers are not protecting the stability of the country and the people protecting them against dictatorship. The Ukraine was a part of the dictatorship of the USSR, Union of Soviet Socialist Republic commonly called the Soviet Union which was disbanded in 1991. There were 15 states of the oppressive USSR, Baltic States: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania; East Central Europe: Belarus, Modova, Ukraine; Southern Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia;
Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Krygyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan; Russia: Russia.
While the USSR was a behemoth of a nation, it cared very little for the well-being of its citizens. To listen or read its history of destruction and genocide, it’s no wonder the people are concerned that to take a breath is to ask permission. This is the same state that promoted the killing of six million plus Jews and the encampment of its citizens building walls, cutting the citizens off from the rest of the world.
Democracy is a process of discussion of varying points of view. The citizens are asking to be heard and not oppressed. The world awaits to see if the former states of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic will raise its mighty thumb and return to total oppression of its citizens. 25 lives have seeded the soil of outrage, what more will it take for greed, pride and heartlessness to be permanently vanquished from this European country? Let’s also see if text and videos will be removed. Lately, the news coverage of some media outlets is being removed. A true democracy allows for the voices of its citizens to be heard.

The following is the letter from NAUKMA
” The bloody events of February 18-19 have moved Viktor Yanukovych’s regime to a position outside of the law. Ukraine’s authorities have begun a war against their own people, who have been defending their dignity and their rights.
Therefore, we call on:
– Our compatriots – to stop the fratricide and bloodshed;
– Police authorities – not to comply with criminal orders, and to remember the oath of enlistment they made to the people of Ukraine;
– Ukrainian officers – to recall their honor and dignity and to protect the lives of their compatriots, the sovereignty of Ukraine, and to defend the Ukrainian people from the onslaught of dictatorship;
– University academic communities – to stop the study process until the bloodshed is over.”
Glory to Ukraine!
