FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DCHHS Confirms Mosquito Samples Test Positive for West Nile
Ground Spraying Scheduled in Coppell
DALLAS (June 26, 2017) – Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) laboratory confirmed mosquito samples have tested positive for West Nile virus. The mosquito trap was collected from the 75019 zip code of Coppell.
DCHHS encourages residents in affected areas to be a part of the solution by eliminating insect breeding areas and larvae before mosquitoes reach the airborne stage. In conjunction with Dallas County municipalities, mosquito abatement teams are responding by treating areas and ground spraying is currently scheduled.
Mosquito spraying schedule, weather permitting:
Tuesday, June 27 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Wednesday, June 28 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Residents should remain inside during the time sprayers are in the area. Spraying will not be conducted in the event of wind speeds in excess of 10 mph or inclement weather.
Residents should use the 4Ds to reduce exposure to mosquitoes:
Standing water can be treated with EPA-approved larvicides that are available for retail purchase. Larvicides are products used to kill immature mosquitoes before they become adults. Larvicides are applied directly to water sources that hold mosquito eggs, larvae, or pupae. When used well, larvicides can help reduce the overall mosquito burden by limiting the number of mosquitoes that are produced, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
DCHHS has information regarding mosquito prevention on its website.

Thursday, June 15, 2017, Pastor Roy Allen and his team hit the streets of the Westside of Chicago, Illinois praying for anyone in need of comfort. Pastor Allen shared on social media that people gave their hearts to Jesus. This means to acknowledge a life of sin, denounce it and decide to change with the help of Jesus. It is a verbal covenant or commitment of faith, belief in Jesus Christ. Pastor Allen’s social media page shows postings of residents giving their lives to Christ. Pastor Allen Facebook posting also says, “Jesus Said He Will Heal This Chicago, His People”. This healing promise appears to be the motivating factor for going into an area known for its violence. Although the area is improving greatly, it’s known for its hardships and struggles. Healing is a long desired presence of the residents present and past. The latter is my testimony.
The scripture that refers to healing that is most relative is the one Former President Barack Obama often quoted 2008-2016, Psalms 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” NIV . This scripture reaffirms that Jesus, God, is in control of all things. Most people acknowledge God in times of trouble to either blame or seek help. The Bible states that God blesses those that love, honor, bless or have faith in Him. When you read the Holy Bible with understanding, you can see book after book, that God did not cause the trauma but He does right the wrong. Because of sin, God demands honor. In layman term, God gives back what he gets. You can see this in the book of Samuel. The specific verse is 1 Samuel 2:6-7,
6 “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. 7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
But to get the full grasp of this, you need to read at least read all of chapter 2 which is titled Hannah’s prayer, ” Hannah’s Prayer
1 Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. 2 “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. 3 “Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. 4 “The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength. 5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry are hungry no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away. 6 “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. 7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. 8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. “For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s; on them he has set the world. 9 He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails; 10 those who oppose the LORD will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.” 11 Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the LORD under Eli the priest.
Eli’s Wicked Sons
12 Eli’s sons were scoundrels; they had no regard for the LORD. 13 Now it was the practice of the priests that, whenever any of the people offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand while the meat was being boiled 14 and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot. Whatever the fork brought up the priest would take for himself. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh. 15 But even before the fat was burned, the priest’s servant would come and say to the person who was sacrificing, “Give the priest some meat to roast; he won’t accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.” 16 If the person said to him, “Let the fat be burned first, and then take whatever you want,” the servant would answer, “No, hand it over now; if you don’t, I’ll take it by force.” 17 This sin of the young men was very great in the LORD’s sight, for they were treating the LORD’s offering with contempt. 18 But Samuel was ministering before the LORD—a boy wearing a linen ephod. 19 Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice. 20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the LORD give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the LORD.” Then they would go home. 21 And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD. 22 Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 23 So he said to them, “Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours. 24 No, my sons; the report I hear spreading among the LORD’s people is not good. 25 If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the LORD, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the LORD’s will to put them to death. 26 And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with people.
Prophecy Against the House of Eli
27 Now a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Did I not clearly reveal myself to your ancestor’s family when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh? 28 I chose your ancestor out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in my presence. I also gave your ancestor’s family all the food offerings presented by the Israelites. 29 Why do you scorn my sacrifice and offering that I prescribed for my dwelling? Why do you honor your sons more than me by fattening yourselves on the choice parts of every offering made by my people Israel?’ 30 “Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the LORD declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. 31 The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your priestly house, so that no one in it will reach old age, 32 and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, no one in your family line will ever reach old age. 33 Every one of you that I do not cut off from serving at my altar I will spare only to destroy your sight and sap your strength, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life. 34 “ ‘And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be a sign to you—they will both die on the same day. 35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always. 36 Then everyone left in your family line will come and bow down before him for a piece of silver and a loaf of bread and plead, “Appoint me to some priestly office so I can have food to eat.” ’ ”
So, after reading this passage you can see Pastor Allen’s posting, “Jesus Said He Will Heal This Chicago, His People”, can be valid. But, I always caution you to seek out God for yourself. Build up your own relationship with God. Do not rely on constant prophecy from anyone. God is speaking to all men. Faith is required to hear, understand and hold on to what you understand so that you do not give up on your belief in times of trouble. Mark 4:9 is a good example, “9 Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” The word “hear” carries the meaning to “hold on”.
So, then the prayers of Pastor Allen is walking out the word of God’s declaration of deliverance. The thing is will the residents of the community hold on or cast healing back in the face of God like a man spits at his enemy. In other words, will residents hold peace like hate, excluding or love like Jesus? Who are you praying for today?

Chawanya Hayes is a great singer you ought to hear. You have heard her music on LUTG RADIO and many other music outlets.
President Obama welcomes our 2016 Chicago World Series to the White house, January 16, 2017. President Obama an openly Chicago Whitesox fan for life took this day, the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday celebration, to honor a team that fought hard in unity to achieve a victory long out of reach for 108 years. President Obama’s great humor brought smiles to the faces of the Chicago Cubs, press core and the over 4000 you tube watchers. This moment as President Obama recounted the play-by-play of the win sent me back to the moment of happy anxiety awaiting the moment that we all believed when Rizzo tossed the last ball of his career to seal the win. It was intense. Today , joy is the word. Just looking at all these men in class photo form smiling.
You remember when you would day-dream about being the world series champs and being celebrated by the president. You may have been in fourth grade, high school or college. Although, it was a rare dream which always happened to someone else, today its official, The Chicago Cubs are no longer dreaming. Our 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series Champions are the heroes of little kids in Chicago and all over the world. The cool thing about the Cubs is they are not just heroes on the field, they also give back to others by volunteering over 1400 hours this past year. #FlyW
The best way to get more fans, new fan and people to show up for your performances is to make your events super easy to find. The first step is to create a website. You can do this for Free via Wix.com . The is the one I, Kathy Brocks of LUTG RADIO, use so if there are others then by all means use them after doing your research of the company to make sure they intend on sticking around for a while. Next create a “show or event” page that lets everyone know about your next upcoming show name, location, cost and how to purchase tickets or whether its free.
Then, tell readers, googlers, social media darlings a little something about you and your style of music. Tell people where they can buy your music via digital download or CD. You also, want to push your SWAG or Artist t-shirts and other apparel. Each time you do a show upload a 30 second or 2 minute clip of the show to engage people or post it to your social media pages. Engage fans by asking questions on social media. Ask them about their favorite song, vacation, inspiration and share yours. Do not tell it all, just chat briefly for a few minutes daily or weekly.
Remember, to not seek to find fault. Fans sometimes get overly excited when meeting a talented artist such as yourself. Just remind them, success is a daily process of choices and we are all just people working on making a living at what we love the most, music and performing. Let fans know you love them like a sister or brother. Do not encourage romance. Some fans got enough fantasy going on in their own heads already. Also, pray for your fans daily. It is a blessing to their lives. Its feels good to know someone is praying for you. Keep this in mind as you go about grinding and working hard to achieve your dreams of reaching the masses with the gospel through music and artistic performances. Included are screenshots of artists that do a good job helping fans to attend their next performance.
I play music and performances on air for free currently. The main requirement is be a Christian artist and provide clean material. Tae Spears is an example of why LUTG RADIO offers free airplay for artists. Check out 16 Bars,
